Do you like building things?  Do you like Angry Birds?  Come build towers out of cups, toilet paper rolls, and other household materials.  We'll also make catapults out of Popsicle sticks, spoons, and rubber bands.  Then we'll use our catapults to send some birds flying. Can you build a great structure that no one else will be able to knock down?

Discover & Play in Kids & Teens

Speaking of puppets and building things, did you know that kids have a lot of options to discover, build, and play in the Kids & Teens Department?

There are activity centers, AWE Early Literacy Stations, a puppet stage, marble panel, fun house mirror, and our favorite, the three-sided Discovery Play Center which includes a magnetic board, felt board, and LEGO wall.

It's all educational, and it's all fun!  Check out our Discover & Play page for more information.

October 9-15: Teen Read Week 2016

Join us October 9-15 in Kids & Teens to celebrate Teen Read Week. We'll have some fun book displays, reading recommendations, and a raffle for teens, so stop by and check out a book... for the fun of it!
