The Elmwood Park Public Library can assist you if you need an exam or a test proctored offsite. Please read our policy carefully for it has changed.
- You must be a resident of Elmwood Park in order to have an exam proctored at the library and you must have an Elmwood Park Library card in good standing.
- You must contact the proctoring coordinator at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. a minimum of 5 days before you wish to take your exam and before you have any exam-related materials sent.
- You are responsible for any copy, printing or postage costs. The library will not assume any responsibilities around mailing proctored exams.
- When contacting the proctoring coordinator, please provide:
- full name
- library card number
- contact information (email address and/or phone number)
- a description of the proctoring services you need
- We can proctor paper or online exams.
- When the exam arrives, we will contact you to let you know it is here. At that time we will arrange a date and time for you to take the exam.
- You must present a photo ID at the time you take your exam.
- You must provide your own materials such as scratch paper, pens, pencils, and calculators (if allowed).
- The staff member will read and follow all exam instructions.
- Staff members will not grade examinations. You will have to make special arrangements with your school if they normally ask proctors to grade exams.
- The staff member who proctors your exam will sign off on the exam.
