The Library's Maker-Bot Replicator, 3D printing a bust of a person.Have you heard about 3D printing and wish you could try it out, but you don't have access to a 3D printer? Come to the Library and use ours for free!

How Does it Work?

The Library has two different 3D printers, which allow you to make three-dimensional objects such as jewelry, figurines, tools, and more.  With an .STL file format, our MakerBot Replicators print objects using plastic filament, and can take anywhere between a couple of hours to an entire week to print, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Learn & Print at the Library

Contact our Technology Librarian for more details if you have a design you would like to print at the Library with our MakerBot Replicator.

Or, if you would like instruction on using TinkerCAD (https://tinkercad.com), a free online 3D design program, to create or modify a design, you can make a 1-on-1 appointment with Adan (aThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or someone from Adult Services (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), and we can spend some time introducing you to the world of 3D printing.

Please see our 3D Printer Use Policy before getting started.
