We strive to make printing as easy as possible at the library. You can print documents, images, webpages and more from the Library's public computers, as well from your own personal devices!
All of the instructions you need to get started are on this page. Choose one of the links below to jump straight to specific instructions.

Copy/Print Cards - No longer in use!
As of May 2021, we have upgraded our printing software, and are no longer using copy/print cards. With the update, BOTH printing from a computer AND using the copier will have the capability to be paid for using either:
- Coin/cash box - insert nickels, dimes, quarters, $1 or $5 bills
- Funds attached to your library card - add money to your library card account either at the print station or at the Circulation Desk
With this new option option of adding usable funds to your library card, our traditional copy/print cards are now obsolete. But don't worry, if you still have a copy/print card with money on it, you can trade it in at the Circulation Desk to have the funds transferred from the copy/print card to your library card account.
Printer options & costs
The printing process differs depending on what program you are using, but once you have told that program to print your document you will be asked to choose a printer. Our system should default to the whichever floor you are on (1st or 2nd), but click the drop-down menu (and choose the option "See more..." if needed) to see all of the options. Then you can choose to:
- Print to 1st or 2nd Floor BW (black and white - $0.10 per page)
- Print to 1st or 2nd Floor BW 2-Sided (prints on both sides of paper, black and white - $0.10 per side of page)
- Print to 1st or 2nd Floor Color (color - $0.25 per page)
- Print to 1st or 2nd Floor Color 2-Sided (prints on both sides of paper, color - $0.25 per side of page)
- PDFs - Save your document into a .pdf file by choosing whichever option mentions PDF. (Free)
Send a print job from a Library computer
Sending a print job from a computer has become much simpler:
- Chose one of the options listed above under Printing Options & Costs,
- A box will pop up to give you a summary of your print job, with options:
- Click OK to send the job.
- Click Cancel to cancel the job.
- Click Accounts to see how much money you have in your library card account (note: this only works if you logged into the computer with your library card).
- When you click OK, your print job will be sent directly to the Print Release Station.
- When you get to the Print Release Station, you will identify your print job with the number you logged into the computer with: either your library card number or the guest pass number.
Use the Print Release Station to pay for & release your print job
Whether paying for a print job from our computer, your own device, or using the photocopier to make copies, you now need to use the Print Release Station.
The video below has more instructions, and is divided into 5 chapters:
- Adding money to your library account
- Paying for a print job with your library account
- Paying for a print job with the cash/coin box
- Paying for a photocopy with your library account
- Paying for a photocopy with the cash/coin box
As always, if printing from one of the Library's computers, we recommend not closing your document/webpage or logging out of the computer until your print job has actually printed. That way, if there are problems, we can easily try again.
Please let us know if you need any assistance and we'll be happy to walk you through it!
