The Library's copy machine and coin box.Using a copier is easy at the Elmwood Park Public Library.  We have three copiers available for public use:

  • Adult Services
    • 1 Color / Black & White copier
    • 1 Black & White only copier
  • Kids & Teens
    • 1 Color / Black & White copier in Kids & Teens

Copies are $0.10 a page for black and white and $0.25 a page for color.   To get started insert your print card (see below) or cash or coins into the coin box next to the copier.

Lift the lid and place your original on the glass in the upper left hand corner by the arrow.  Alternatively, if you have a large number of copies to make you can place your originals face up in the document feeder on the top of the lid.

You can adjust many settings on the copier including contrast, brightness, collation, double-sided copies, number of copies and more.  After you’ve selected your options press one of the large buttons on the right side of the button panel (black and white for black and white or color for color).

When you’re finished, press the silver button on the top of the coin box to retrieve your print card or change.

Copy/Print Cards

Copy/Print cards are magnetic cards store a cash balance and are available for purchase at the front desk for $1.00.  The cards come with a balance of $0.50 and more money can be added at any of the coin boxes in the library, or by staff at the front Circulation Desk.
