Welcome to our resources for parents and teachers!  The Youth Services Department knows that children learn so much on a daily basis - from parents, teachers, friends, family, and at the Library. We know how challenging being a parent and or teacher can be and we want to make that challenge a little less daunting by providing you with websites and materials that can help you on your journey.

In addition to finding and providing helpful materials we also provide a variety of services for teachers and schools. Such services include library tours, book club requests, book talks and working with our local Boy and Girl Scouts troops on badges. We pride ourselves in working with our local schools and teachers and want you to know that we are willing to help wherever needed. The Kent District Library has a phenomenal site that will help you navigate the order of any series. Use this site to figure out the title of that next book in the series or to find out what others series the popular author of the moment has also written.
